Best Seats at MGM Grand Garden Arena
The most common seating layout at MGM Grand Garden Arena for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 18, Section 19 and Section 20. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.

On the Floor: Sections Floor A, Floor B, Floor C and Floor D are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 14, Section 15 and Section 16. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.

Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 1, Section 2, Section 3 and Section 101 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 18, Section 19, Section 20 and Section 21. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 208 and 209 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level .

Lower Level Corner Seating
Corner seating on the lower level provide a cheaper alternative to side sections and in many cases - a more comfortable view. The corner sections are well-angled towards end-stage setups and the higher rows provide good elevated to see the stage. Like the adjacent side sections, Rows run A-X in the corner sections.
Lower Level End Seating
Fans willing to sacrifice an up close view of the stage will find comfortable seating in Sections 1-3 directly across from the stage. Rows in these sections run as high as X, with row A being closest to the floor. While Row A may be tempting, Rows J and higher provide enough height to see everything clearly.
Lower Level Side Seating
Side sections 16 and 17 provide some of the best views of the stage and are often preferred by shorter guests who may have trouble seeing over taller fans in the floor sections. Sections 8-11 do not provide the most comfortable view towards the stage - as you'll have to turn your body to see. Save money by choosing a more comfortable head-on section like 1-3. Most side sections have up to 24 rows of seating, labeled A-X.
Upper Level Corner Seating
The often over-looked corner sections in the upper level usually provide some of the best bargains. At the MGM Grand, these sections feature a good angle to the stage, with the drawback of being pretty far away. Fans considering 200 level sections in the corner should not sit higher than row H - support poles obstruct the views in some of the higher rows.
Upper Level End Seating
Head-on sections in the upper level provide a comfortable, elevated view of the stage. Sections 101-103 offer an added bonus of convenience as the sections are smaller and they're located close to the concourse entrance. Meanwhile, Sections 201-203 are usually among the cheapest concert seats due to their proximity away from the stage. While they are far away, these seats are preferred over side Sections 208 and 209 because they offer a more comfortable view of the stage.
Upper Level Side Seating
Some of the best concert seats at MGM Grand are found in the 100 level sections. These are the smallest sections in the stadium and are located near the concourse entrance - making it easy to get to restrooms and concessions. Sections 114-117 in particular offer phenomenal side views of the stage at an ideal height.200 level seats are typically the cheapest tickets, but can provide some impressive views. Sections 216 and 217 are the top picks among these upper level side sections. But don't stray too high up - the stairs can get pretty steep. 200 level sections start with Row A and can go as high as Row R.
